Users wanting to make purchases using the self-service checkout will first need to open their user account. To do this, they can press the ‘Get started’ button at the bottom of the screen which will present the user with their options.
Once the user has provided a valid authentication method to the kiosk, the users account will be opened and their details presented below the status area, which will now be blue and presenting any items added to the transactions “basket”.
A user can’t open their account
If a user is having difficulty opening their account, for example, they have lost their card/can’t remember their PIN etc., then they can use the ‘Need help?’ button to request assistance. Once an operator has logged on, they will be able to manually perform a user search to locate the user’s account. See here for more information.
