Removing items from a transaction is referred to as ‘Voiding’. When an item is voided, it is removed from the transaction and the basket total is updated accordingly. There are a couple of reasons that you may need to remove an item, it may be in cases where the user has accidentally selected the wrong item, double-scanned the item, they cannot afford the item, or is prevented from buying the item due to an allergy or restriction placed upon the account.
Against each item in the basket, you will see a red bin icon . To remove an item from the basket, simply tap this icon, the item will be removed and the basket total (displayed in the bottom-right corner of the screen below the basket list) will be updated accordingly.
