Showcasing Innovative Solutions for Schools
We are thrilled to share the highlights of our recent participation at the celebrated LACA Main Event 2023 in Birmingham on the 5th and 6th of July. As leaders in cashless solutions for schools, multi-academy trusts, local authorities and school caterers, this event allowed us to engage with school leaders and discuss the latest developments in our industry. We were delighted to witness the enthusiasm and passion of attendees as they explored our cutting-edge offerings and embraced the future of school management.
Highlight of the LACA Main Event: Grab & Go
The LACA Main Event 2023 focused on the concept of Grab & Go, a trend that is transforming school catering. As part of this emphasis, LACA organised the Grab & Go Challenge, sponsored by Quorn Professionals, where the four talented school chef finalists designed, cooked, and served nutritious food items that can be enjoyed on the go. The enthusiasm surrounding this event was contagious, showcasing the industry’s dedication to providing students with healthy and convenient meal options.
Relating this to our Fusion Online grab-and-go solution, we demonstrated how our cutting-edge technology can streamline the Grab & Go experience. Fusion Online allows schools to efficiently manage pre-ordering and quick service, ensuring students receive delicious and nutritious meals with minimal waiting time. Our team was delighted to engage with attendees, sharing insights and best practices to enhance schools’ Grab & Go experience nationwide.
Introducing convenient Chip & Pin payments
At the LACA Main Event, we introduced Chip & Pin payments for the first time, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees could see Chip & Pin in action at the event, with demonstrations showing the benefits of the convenient payment method. Demonstrations highlighted how Chip & Pin is a secure and efficient way to handle transactions in the school dining hall and during school events. With the ability to accept card payments, Google Pay, and Apple Pay, schools can now offer their students and parents a wide range of options for hassle-free transactions.
iPayimpact parent app revealed
During the LACA Main Event 2023, attendees had the exclusive opportunity to get a first look at our latest offering, the iPayimpact parent app. This revolutionary application received glowing feedback as school leaders recognised its potential to bridge the gap between schools and parents, enabling seamless communication and effortless payment processes.
The iPayimpact parent app empowers parents to stay updated with their child’s school activities, manage payments, access meal menus, and more directly from their mobile phones. By providing a user-friendly interface and real-time information, this app streamlines school administrative tasks and offers convenience to busy parents. The positive response we received from attendees demonstrated our commitment to delivering solutions that simplify school management.
