Scottish cashless user group

The first user group was formed in 2005 to provide a forum for customers to help shape future development. This close relationship with our customers has allowed us to ensure that our systems are continually enhanced.

2002

School caterer handing healthy school meal to pupil

In 2002, the Scottish Executive introduced national nutrition standards for school lunches to tackle Europe’s highest child obesity levels. We worked with councils to create technology to monitor compliance with the new food standards.

1997

Princess Ann visiting Scottish schools

Two years after the installation, Princess Anne was impressed by the system while touring Scottish schools.

1995

Student purchasing school meal at Fusion PoS

Our signature cashless catering product, IMPACT, was installed at St. Margaret’s Academy in West Lothian in 1995. The goal was to anonymise free school meals and speed up service by removing cash from the PoS.

The first CRB Cunninghams computer in our Edinburgh office back in 1966

CRB Solutions first opened its doors in Edinburgh on 2nd December 1966. CRB stand for Cash Registers Buccleuch, named after Buccleuch Street in Edinburgh, the home of our first office.
