Despite the challenges faced in 2020, education professionals across the UK recently took the opportunity to come together and celebrate the hard work of those in the industry.

On the 25th November 2020, professionals from all types of businesses in education came together via Zoom to celebrate individuals and teams that have made a difference to food and education catering this year for the LACA 2020 Awards for Excellence.

Whilst the award ceremony is usually hosted at the LACA Main Event, moving the awards to a virtual ceremony did not dampen spirits.

Amongst the attendees, the spirit of togetherness and pride in the work done across the industry to ensure pupils have had access to hot and healthy meals was apparent, especially amongst the nominees.

The ceremony recognises good management, strong performance and high achievements amongst all involved. CRB Cunninghams are proud to have been nominated for the Outstanding Supplier of the Year Award for developing our Fusion Online pre-order app over the past year.

“I love that I can use my passion for delicious and healthy food in my job and make a difference as a nutritionist. I particularly like the fact that our nutrition team are always striving to do even more, and there is never a dull moment!”

The team at CRB Cunninghams would like to offer congratulations to all the winners whose hard work and dedication to the industry have shone through this past year.

As 2020 draws to a close, we reflect on the positive impact the education industry had on children and families in the UK and look forward to when we can all come together again.
