IMPACT were proud to sponsor Alistair McIntyre of Scottish Borders Council in his bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Over the last 12 months Alistair has tirelessly organised and participated in a number of events aimed at raising awareness and funds for what is a worthwhile charity. The reason - his 7 year old granddaughter, who sadly passed away after a brave and gruelling battle against High Risk Neuroblastoma from the age of 4.

Alistair managed to raise a staggering £46,000, lost a few kilos and gained lots of friends.

Please visit In Jimmy''s Footsteps - to read the stories, events and the famous 'walk'' that was inspired by his grandfather and which raised a phenomenal amount of money for the charity.
